It's been quite a week! Tidying up today, I happened upon some cute items that Mutti and I have made. I love it when you open up a drawer and find things that you've created, but for whatever reason, you've completely forgotten about them. Today has been one of these days. The one difference being, I opened up a suitcase....
Doesn't she look like an angel?!!! Let me tell you, getting this bow on Miss Bunny was a horrific nightmare! She looks really sweet and agreeable here, but believe me when I say that she is a devil. Look at the placement of the bow...it was supposed to be adorning her head!
Handmade by Mutti, I LOVE these purses! The stitches, the fabrics, the cute shape - these are the things that I cherish and love.
Endless stacks of the quilts seem to flood our house - it's wonderful! Some of the fabrics come from dresses that I wore when I was 2 and 3 years old, and some are much, much older - quilts made by our Nana are especially meaningful and treasured since she is no longer here with us. Seeing the stitches that she did as a young woman is priceless!
Tired after all of her barking and nipping, Miss Bunny is finally resting! I suppose that being a demanding and opinionated princess must be exhaust work. Still, I can't help thinking how precious she looks here.
Of course she'll be barking again in five minutes, so we are always grateful for these peaceable moments that are "bark" free!
